I love the greenery, this time we stayed in one of the cabins and it felt very secluded with a nice view. Despite the rain it was very scenic.

We felt like royalty for a couple of days. We were greeted by the most pleasant staff from we entered the property. The front desk staff ensured we got to our rooms with no issues.
We thoroughly enjoyed our complimentary breakfast. We loved that it was to order and not buffet. Our server Ryan gave us 5 star service for 2 days.
Overall, it was a great place for any kind of getaway

I am not so much a fan of Port Antonio town but the area of Portland is my favourite as it’s so beautiful and peaceful. I always stay longer in the part of the island as it’s so wonderful to come from a big city like a London to this peaceful paradise.

We didn't spend a lot of time in the town of Port Antonio, but did have a delicious fish and lobster dinner at Roots 21. We mostly went to the beaches near fairy hill and Zion hill. Taxis are plentiful but we chose to use Polish Princess charter service as it was raining and or dark when we went out for dinner.

The main problem being in port Antonio is transportation if you are not driving. because it is not a tourist area like montego Bay or Negill, you may have difficulty reaching there or when you are Leaving!! I have been here about six times now And that is the biggest problem. There are great restaurants here with great food food along the area near Boston beach. Even though the jerk centers are not always that greatest according to reputation. the jerk restaurant right at the Boston beach Guest house entrance was excellent also also Rocky's fried chicken was good. I don't recall the names of a few of the other restaurants!!

Port Antonio is very charming place to visit in Jamaica.
Port Antonio is very charming place to visit in Jamaica. The town itself is very lively, and the surrounding area has lots of outdoor attractions do including, Frenchmans, cove, blue Lagoon, horseback riding, and more.
Be aware, however, that the roads are rough! There was construction going on as of late November 2023 when we visited. So we were stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic at one point while they closed the road. There is only one main road and one lane each direction so getting around takes some time, even tough the distance between attractions may seem short.
Also have your wits about you when interacting with street vendors, they may overcharge you. So ask for prices upfront and calculate your total before handing over any cash. We got ripped off and wound up paying $1,000 JMD for a fritter, Callaloo and breadfruit but it was our fault for not double checking the total.

I love the parish of Portland and always enjoy being in Port Antonio. Decent, kind, welcoming people and the many attractions to visit and beaches to visit.
I am just hoping they fix the roads sooner than later.
Property is in a great location and very close to Port Antonio’s town centre. Building grounds are very clean and parking is available onsite through their secured electrical gates. Rooms are very cosy with all the amenities you could ask for! The sea view from the balcony was the ‘cherry on top’ for us as the views are truly breathtaking. Staff are very welcoming and friendly - thank you Nick (manager) for always checking in whenever we crossed paths. We felt so relaxed and safe here and we would definitely stay here again.
As soon as we arrived at the hotel, the check in was friendly and quick. The rooms are as exactly how they look in the photos. We dined in the restaurant in the evening, there were 4 of us and we all had different meals, and everyone of us were more than happy with the size of the portions were stop on. And I would highly recommend the coconut curried shrimp, the flavour was the best I've had. The pool is nice and relaxing. The whole experience was awesome and we will definitely be returning quests.
The location was lovely, close to town, and the beaches. The view was gorgeous. It was a jamaican welcome, and jamaican style residence. They were kind to the dogs and cats and fed them. You could prepare food in the kitchen, store food safetly in the fridge. People around port antonio friendly, and we shopped with local people, locally in shops and the market, with no hassle or inflated prices .
The food is amazing a cooked by a real Italian chef, the food is top class at great price to taste some real good quality food the chicken burgers are amazing and the carbonara is so delicious. I highly recommend to let the owner Alfio cook for you ,you won’t regret it , good location quieter than most and close enough to big attractions,Boston beach , reach falls
The location of the bungalow was good it was in good driving proximity for all the hype areas such a blue lagoon and Boston Beach etc. the staff was very welcoming and are easily reached because someone is always on site just in case you had concerns at any given time. I like that hot water was available for showering.
The scenery is breathtaking. The sound of the ocean. The private beach. The cottage. The bed. The bathroom. The restaurant. The food. The staff. The security. All absolutely amazing. We visited for my parents 50th wedding anniversary and my mother's birthday and it exceeded expectations. We shall return 😊.
The location of all nations is excellent because it is directly across the street from Geejam, which is a resort with beach access if you spend a minimum at the bar. We really enjoyed this and took full advantage of the paddle boarding and kayaking at Geejam, a highlight of the trip for me.
The most stylish, comfortable hotel room I have ever stayed in. Truly wonderful.
We also loved the hotel beach, it’s utterly stunning. Shame it was neverending rain when we were there (rainy season came early!) and we did some snorkelling and paddle boarding which we loved.
authentic Jamaican breakfast everyday. Staff very accommodating. Especially the night staff. Located by the locals that showed much love.Port Antonio is a great parish just wish I could see the streets paved so the cars can actually drive thru & see da beauty.
The apartment is located in the hills above Port Antonio but not far from the town centre and was therefore near enough to everything one may need during a stay.
It also contained the comforts of home, eg, a full kitchen with all the essential appliances.
The room was very clean. Staff very responsive and friendly. The comfort of the bed was incomparable, just simply divine...best sleep I've had in years. I normally can't sleep in a hotel bed...this was my 1st experience actually finding such comfort.
Loved the location, walk away from the centre , some good bars, street food and a short drive from the local beech. The food in the hotel is lovely and inexpensive. Really clean. Bed very comfortable.
- Very nice&clean room in the centre of Port Antonio, the whole town is within walking distance
- Host is absolutely lovely & helpful
- Restaurants are nearby and there's an equiped kitchen as well
Jeremy and Merriam were incredible hosts. Beautiful house and property with an amazing view. Easy walk to Boston Beach if you're in decent shape. Great breakfasts and helpful tips from the hosts.
The owner was very nice and the staff was helpful. We got a lot of information about things to do and places to visit. Especially nice was Reach waterfall.
