A wonderful surprise when we opened the door to find a two bedroom suite with sauna and huge bathroom. We went for a walk into old town for some food & when we looked back at the hotel we were amazed to see we had a big balcony as well as a small one. When we got back we opened all the shutters to find we had a third balcony off the second bedroom too. Amazing and felt truly lucky to stay in this suite. Reception lady spoke good English & was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good but the room was rather hot. The planes didn't bother us and it was great seeing them up close on final approach.

Lovely location and excellent food.
Room was comfortable and the view of the sea wonderful. So relaxing. It was October so the hotel was quiet and no fighting for sun beds or tables or drinks. We walked up and down the coast every day in both directions

Old Town Trogir was an old city in the Venetian style, an much smaller than Split, but with many restaurant and bar options on the waterfront. It was also only about 10 minutes from the Split airport, so it is a great place to stay the night before you leave, or if you arrive late at night.

Trogir centre is a classic old Mediterranean town with well preserved architecture which in my view rises well above its modern touristification. It is also a big marine centre. In summer though it gets choked with traffic, come by bus (or ferry from Split in summer only) if you can. There is a frequent bus service from Split and Split airport every day.

Trogir is a small town with a couple of things to see in the very center - the old town. It's small enough that you can just walk around and see everything. We ate burgers at Big Mom's - they were good.

Our stay this time was very short but we liked the atmosphere of the old town. Lots of tourists still but quieter in the evening. walking inside the old town is easy, it is so small that one cannot get totally lost, the sea always lurks at the end of some street. The main road outside the old town is now under repairs, that a litte bit cursed difficulties for walking - but a passing problem! Maybe the walking bridge - which was not in use now - will also be repaired.
I would say our Stay at Trogir was just fantastic.Location is perfect just in front of sea and with parking .Vito is amazing host and house is also very comfortable.he is very responsive.Sweetest thing is when we reached at his place he brought some fruits, red wine and made Croatian special fish for us and when we were leaving he brought one souvenir for us .
I would highly recommend this place to anyone. It made our trip more memorable and I would definitely stay there again whenever we will visit Split again
The hotel opens up into the small beach and has a restaurant with a beautiful canopy. The hotel itself is charming, and you are outside the urban area, but close to a number of small restaurants. We didn't have dinner there, because my husband is a vegetarian, but I suspect it is quite good. The included breakfast is a full one, and the service is good. The hotel is in a quiet area, we did walk into the old town of Trogir, but its an hour's walk, so a drive or Uber is probably a good idea.
if you like boats…

if you like a market with food
this the spot for you.
Ours was a last minute booking for the start of our off season Croatian holiday and wanted a place close to the airport to get over jet lag & fast access to the hotel.
We loved Apartments Baotic!
Highly recommend.
The apartment was nice, and good value for money, and it had everything you need. The host was also super nice and the landlady who greeted us as well. The beach is close and so is a small convenience store (both down a steep hill dough, but that was expected). The beach was ok, but there are much nicer beaches also in Croatia. Would recommend renting a car and exploring around. AC was working good. Overall, a nice place, and would recommend for a budget stay.
Josip & his wife Marianna were the perfect hosts. Made you feel like part of their family.
Apartment Sea is beautiful and location ideal.
From great breakfasts, arranging trips to Trogir, Split, Krka NP, Sibenik and Primosten as well as Josip personally greeting us at the airport & doing our transfers. You could not have asked for more.
It was our first time visiting Croatia & we hope to return next year and stay with this lovely family.
Thank you
🥰
The hotel had the most amazing roof terrace with a hot tub overlooking a bell tower! The rooms were clean, nicely decorated and the enclosed terrace was so pretty to eat breakfast in! I loved it that much I stayed in it twice during my trip to Croatia! Couldn’t have asked for a better host (Mario)who gave us recommendations for our trip! Would definitely go back :)
Superb location in the middle of the old town of Trogir. The building itself is full of charm, with a long history! Despite being in the old town, it is very quiet and our sleep was tranquil. Our stay was made even more enjoyable as it was a pleasure to talk with the host and learn more about Croatia, Trogir and so much more. We would highly recommend this place.
Very nice apartment with a nice view over Trogir.
Close to the city center with just a few minutes walk. City center is very nice town to visit with nice restaurants, boat to Split and small shops.
Nice beaches reachable by car in a few minutes, but were unfortunately little bit busy and pay parking.
Room is good for a few nights, and have everything you need.
the breakfast, it's the best of the best, the best we had in Croatia, easily beating the buffet we had in 5 star hotel of Dubrovnik. We ended up eating every meal, dinner, drinks, breakfast, etc. all at the breakfast place offered by Bubalus. The food is absolutely amazing. The staff there is so nice... And location is at the heart of Trogir.
Good location in relation to beaches (10 min walk) in a vacation area where rentals are high. Good value. (Caveat: Some (not all) retirees may have difficulty negotiating the walk to the beach; like most Croatian rentals on the Dalmatian Riviera, the walk to the beach is downhill and the return is definitely uphill.)
Hotel Pasike is within Old Trogir, with immediate access to all the sites of that ancient city. I was there in the off-off season, but there were still restaurants and other amenities within an easy walk. The breakfast was excellent, with hot and cold dishes served. The room was very comfortable and spacious.
This hotel had a traditional Croatian style which was lovely.
The room was very comfortable with everything we needed, especially the air conditioning which was much appreciated.
We ate in the restaurant in the evening. The menu was more than adequate and the food lovely.
Plenty of choice for breakfast.
This accommodation was perfect for us. We stayed there the whole weekend until we ordered one more night in Croatia :D I really liked the view from this special apartment! So I can highly recommend. Thank you Maria and her family! :)
A quirky hotel with many different areas to relax - jacuzzis on the roof, courtyards to chat in and two swimming pools. A very relaxed atmosphere and only a 10 minute walk from Trogir old town and the ferry to Split.
Friendly host, let us stay longer in the room on the check-out day, as my wife was injured by not-so-friendly Croatians on a day before. Close to the beach, room quite OK in general.
Simple apartments, very kind hosts. Walking distance from Trogir old town. Because of very narrow street, access and parking with minibus near the accommodation can be complicated.
It was close to the airport and close to Trogir so the perfect location for our last night in Croatia before flying home. The accommodation was perfect for a family.
