I chose this hotel for its location - right beside the train station which links to the airport. I also enjoyed wandering around the area and found some nice tapas bars and lots of lovely old buildings and pretty squares. I had visited Malaga before and this time I was only there for 1 night to fly back from the airport but I would happily use this hotel again. It also had a roof terrace which is always a bonus! The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The bed and shower were both fine and I wasn't disturbed by noise during the night.

The birthplace of Picasso is as colourful as an artist’s palette, from the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea to the golden sun, which gives 300 days of sunshine per year. When the sun sets, the vibrant nightlife awakens and you’ll find your place amongst the youthful square of the old centre, the trendy bars of La Malagueta or on one of the terraces of Pedregalejo.
There's also rich history underneath the sun and fun. Alcazaba is a Moorish castle from the 11th century and just next to it are the remnants of a Roman Theatre. The white stone tower of the Malaga Cathedral rises up in the heart of the city centre, and offers an interesting respite from sun bathing on the magnificent and popular beaches.
A more modern history can be appreciated by visiting the birthplace of Picasso and a museum full of exhibitions by Malaga’s most famous resident. A more relaxed Spanish city than Madrid and Barcelona, Malaga is still the gateway to the Costa del Sol and the busy Malaga Airport is only 10 km from the centre of town.
From budget hostels to 5-star luxury hotels, with Booking.com you’re sure to find the perfect accommodation for your sunny holiday.

Great city to visit with plenty to do and see, but in my opinion not cheap, look for the bars for locals, watch out for “touristic bars” beer varied from €3.90 - €6.00 - G&T from €6.00 - €10.50😱
Trains are great for getting about, either down the coast to Benalmedina & Fuengirola, or inland Andelucia - Alhora, Antequera & Ronda, or trip up to Granada or Seville

We were 4 people and it was a birthday trip for the two of us. We had a great time! Food was absolutely amazing everywhere we ate, so we weren't too concerned about the online ratings of the places. We walked to El Palo and Pedregalejo beach (1.5h walk or you can take the bus). It was a great experience with food, drinks, beach... Water was a bit cold (we were there in May) but still swimmable.
We went to a flamenco show, which was AMAZING! I'd definitely recommend sitting in the front row -definitely worth the money! We also visited the Interactive Music Museum and OXO Videogame museum -- these were really interesting and fun (and different). We also went to a few bars, our favourite one was ZZ PUB -it's live music and rock. The quality of the music was great, but I recommend bringing ear plugs because it's a small area with loud music! :)
The most famous attractions had too many people in line so we didn't do those with tickets, but we were able to walk around and climb up to see things. Other than that, eat all the tapas and paella you can find, and drink all the Tinto de Verano you want! It's really difficult to not like something I think.
Warning -- there are people who walk around and ask you if you want a drink and a shot for x EUR. Be careful with those. We accepted only one of them but the bar and the drinks were really not that great. So for a very cheap price, you get a very early-twentys-age experience.

Liked most the port area and market type shops there and bars and the views. Beach is a nice option in a city. Plenty of historic things to see.
Car and fashion museum very good.
Liked least that restaurants extremely meat oriented. Even tapas ones. Very few options if any for vegan/ vegetarian if you don’t eat dairy products.

Beautiful city, especially for a long weekend.
Beautiful city, especially for a long weekend. Mixture of fun and culture and it even has a beach on the other side of the harbour. Fabulous city for singles, couples and families - lots to do. Most places are easy to walk to. There were quite a few hen/stag events, but the noise got lost in the hubbub of the place, so it did not worry us.
This is a difficult review to write, this place is clean and the staff were really lovely and helpful with great facilities. BUT this Hotel does not have actual rooms - they are pods like literally from space. Something which myself, my partner and another guest did not realise when making the booking (we shared a cab to the airport and discussed it). It was an experience for sure but not one thats really for me. The location is amazing - one street away from the beach and 10 mins walk from the old town. It has the feel of an upmarket hostel.
It is a beautiful apartment. Better in real life than in the photos. All rooms have air conditioning and the apartment is centrally located near Malaga attractions. An easy 15 minute walk to the beach, 10 minutes to the airport bus and less than 10 minutes to the old town.
Friendly hosts and the apartment was extremely clean and had amenities like washing machine, washing lines, and cooking equipment if needed. The host provided us with some initial water, juices and Nespresso coffee :)
Lovely breakfast in relaxed, stylish surroundings. Dining room staff were welcoming and efficient. Great start to our day.
We fell in love with Malaga itself. The hotel was so close to the inviting sea front and beach, historic buildings, wonderful museums, shops and cafes and restaurants. The city has a friendly, exciting vibe, a truly great location to explore on a short stay. Returning to our hotel after the day's adventures felt like going back to a private haven.
Very nice and quiet apartment in an Aparthotel in the beautiful Soho-district. Only a 5 minute walk to Malaga’s old town. Restaurants, a market and bakery nearby.
Very easy to get into the apartment when we arrived after midnight from the airport. Before arriving they send us codes that unlock the main door to the building and the door to the apartment. The reception is open every day from 11-19, and the staff is very helpful. Thank you for a very nice stay!
Outstanding location but a bit tough to find with your own car since there is no "direct" access to front door (closest access in very narrow street about 150 yards). Parking is off property about 300 yards in covered and secure location. Hotel staff was exceptional. Room was very nice. This is an excellent location to explore Malaga. Restaurant recommendation next to hotel was superb (Los Mellisos) - best pealla we had in Spain.
This hotel is wonderully located - just in the centre of Malaga, a walking distence to Old Town, port, beach etc. The hotels' design is uniquelly pretty and up to date. The rooms are super comfortable and sound proof. I especially liked the small yet meaningfull details like bathrobes, cosmetics provided and a free-standing bathtub that gives you an opportunity to overlook the port and sea while actually taking a bath! Well done!
The location is in a lovely, lively part of Malaga in the Old Town right by the Picasso Museum, Teatro Romano, great eating places and an easy walk to the beach. The hotel is stylish and clean with mainly lovely, helpful reception staff. There is a taxi rank 2 minutes away. We would definitely stay there again but there are a few changes which would have made it even better for us.
Great hotel in a central location just next to the port of Malaga. Wonderfully warm welcome, and rooms were extremely comfortable. Fantastic rooftop terrace serving delicious cocktails. Considering the locality, it was really quiet at night. We could easily walk into the old town, shops and to many bars and restaurants from the hotel. Highly recommended
My recent one-night stay at Campanile Malaga Airport was satisfactory. The room was comfortable, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel's proximity to a shopping mall, just a 5-minute walk away, was a convenient bonus. While it met my basic needs, it didn't offer any particularly exceptional features.
Such a wonderful hotel! Everything is super nicely renovated and in impeccable condition. The hotel is located in the heart of old town Malaga and has incredibly friendly staff- thanks Cristobal and colleagues! the highlight is the rooftop outdoor terrace where you can have your breakfast on a sunny day
lovely small hotel with a great location. 10min walk to the old town and the marina and 5min walk to the beach. Airport bus stops a 3min walk away, and the small rooftop pool is perfect for a quick dip to cool off. Couldn’t have asked for more for the price i paid. Would 100% stay again.
stayed there for 2 nights to explore Malaga historic centre and beach. it was great value for money you can’t find anything cheaper in Malaga staying in the heart of the old town.
the room was simple but more than enough for the purpose, good share bathroom and very quiet at night
Location was perfect for accessing the old town and a short walk to the port and beaches. Private was a lovely touch. Elizabeth was excellent and gave us many recommendations for Malaga and the next location we were traveling to. Would definitely stay here again.
Front of house staff were superb, excellent location 15 mins walk from Old Town and Marina area, the hotel forms an integral part of Malaga central train station, yet so quiet, perfect for those utilising public transport
Hotel is in a great location with friendly staff! The revocations are beautiful and furniture so comfortable! We highly recommend this place to anybody visiting. It’s a 5-10 minute walk to old town Malaga!
very centrally located to shops, restaurants and the beach. really helpful and kind staff. one of the best quality hotels I’ve stayed at. when we return to Malaga, this is where we’ll stay!
Perfect location in Malaga only a few hundred meters from the old town and the parade streets.
Boutique hotel with personally decorated rooms and fresh bathrooms.
Beautiful boutique hotel in perfect location to discover Malaga. The restaurant was very nice. Staff was super friendly. Rooms nicely decorated and smart layout.
