Great reception on arrival, and the hotel and room are very clean and 'neat'.
The only meal I had was breakfast, which was served quickly and was excellent.

Beautiful hotel set in large grounds. I was only staying for one night but there were loads of activities for longer stays. A very friendly, helpful lady on reception greeted me (my dog also thought she was wonderful). I had an u0graded room which was large and very comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast were very good.

Good informative free guide available from tourist information office - helped us choose activities that would make the most of our short stay.
Good choice of shops and restaurants. The sea/river is constantly present. The views across the water are amazing..
Recommend taking one of the ferries to the other side - St. Mawes, the gardens ........
The National Maritime museum is fascinating and warrants a second visit

Falmouth is a hilly town but has lots to offer for all age groups if you can walk up hills. The town is like most other towns with many empty shops sadly but there are still lots of shops and independent shops. The art gallery was a bit disappointing although the building it was in is beautiful. The Museum is good value for money and you can return any time within the year once you have paid entrance fee. Falmouth is very close to lots of other nice places in Cornwall. You can easily walk from the train station into town. I ate at Verdant Tapas bar and another Tapas bar outside of town, you cannot pre book at Verdants. The town is a bit tatty in places but it adds to its character! Lots of places to eat to cater for all peoples tastes!

I love having a variety of safe sandy swimming beaches with calm waters ideal for paddleboarding, kayak exploration. Great range of places to eat, lots of options for vegans. Always some type of live music on somewhere. Good vibe to the town. Ideal location to explore the surrounding area by foot. A must visit is the Wilder Kitchen, such a gem serving delicious Thali. Also Castle beach cafe for takeaway breakfast or lunch and Ciuri Ciuri for the best italian Gelato (always great vegan choices too)

Falmouth is a compact sea-side town with plenty of restaurants and a thriving arts community. While one can easily walk around Falmouth there are also many attractions within a short drive. Taxis are also readily available.
This hotel was excellent for a quiet off track location. A walk down to the beach through beautiful gardens. The staff is the star of this show and catered to all our needs. Shout out to Bella and Lucy in the dining room and Susannah up front. They were so friendly and helpful. The food was really wonderful and we ate most of our meals there. Local ingredients such as the wild garlic from the garden really made everything taste better.
It's positition for me plus been before so I knew my way around.
I have a cardiovascular problem so the little incline to the hotel suits me fine. It has a tap card to enter the building.
Room is compact with.ensuite,,tv and great heater with hairdryer.
Tea,coffee and biscuits plus a hot chocolate included.
Plus a great selection of books to borrow with information about Falmouth and surrounding areas.
The hotel staff were amazing. We had a meal for my Granddaughter's 18th Birthday food was good. She stayed over for the night. She said the room was really nice. The staff left a card and chocolates in her room. How thoughtful of them. She also had a spa treatment and enjoyed that the lady who did her massage was lovely.
Well done Falmouth Hotel we all had a lovely day 😊
Lovely little hotel in Falmouth, right on one of the main beaches (although about a 15-20 minute walk into town centre). Clean and comfortable rooms and comfy king size bed with very nine linens and pillows. great daily breakfast. Nice touch having cold water, milk, biscuits and tea/coffee supplies in the lobby which guests could access at any time.
Really nice old style hotel. Lovely room on the top floor with a good sea view. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were really friendly. Nice touches like a bottle of wine in our room and free bottles of water. Quiet ocation looking out over Falmouth Bay but only a short walk to the station and into town.
Arrived Friday evening and met by staff
Unfortunately I was unwell on Friday night and throughout Saturday which required my wife and I to reduce our stay and return home
This was due to an existing medical issue and the proprietor gave us 100% support
Would recommend this hotel if staying in Falmouth
Situated within minutes to the town center and with breath taking views over Falmouth hourbour, Cotswolds House is the perfect place to stay. The room was sensational and the hosts could not have been more hospitable. The breakfast was faultless and I can't wait to return for another visit.
We enjoyed the hotel very much. Large Manor house in its own grounds. Staff were excellent and went above and beyond. Breakfast and Dinner were very pleasant. All in all very pleased with our choice of accommodation in Falmouth.
Midway between two stations and close to the harbor shops and cafes. I appreciated the ease of check-in as I was on foot and with a backpack. Falmouth is a fun town to visit, and I'd request this room again next time.
We really enjoyed the location of the hotel, being so easily accessible to Falmouth Town centre. The bar area of the pub was well decorated and the staff friendly. The full English breakfast was of a good quality.
Great location within walking distance of Falmouth and on the river. Very comfortable room. Hotel is abit old fashioned and traditional but comfortable bed which is the main thing, so a good nights sleep!
We had a beautiful room with a sea view. The staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfasts. The hotel is close to the sea and a short walk from the town centre.
Helpful staff, a good meal and good location. I have stayed in this hotel many times before. They also upgraded me from a single to a double as business was quieter.
Exceptionally well run and friendly boutique hotel. Made to feel very welcome. complimentary homemade cake offered each afternoon…good selection for breakfast
